Delete your Tracks data
Tracks is a UK train journey planner, developed by Kartar Jabanda. You can ask us to delete some or all of your data and keep your account.
To delete your account as well, see Delete your Tracks account.
Request deletion
Email us and tell us what you’d like deleted.
Email a data deletion requestSend it from the email address you use with Tracks. If you signed in with Apple or Google, include the email address on that account. If you chose Hide My Email with Apple, that’s the address ending in privaterelay.appleid.com.
If you never added an email address, Apple or Google sign-in, your data can’t be matched to a request. You can delete everything from the app instead: Settings then Delete account.
We’ll delete the data you ask for within 30 days of receiving your request.
What you can ask us to delete
- Your tracked journeys
- Your past journeys
- The journeys you’ve muted
- Your notification tokens, and the record of notifications we’ve sent you. Tracks stops sending you notifications until you turn them on again.
- Your name, if Apple shared it when you signed in
This can’t be undone.
What’s kept
- Your account. Its ID, your email address and your Apple or Google sign-in stay, so you can keep using Tracks. To remove them, delete your account.
- Tracks Pro. Our copy of your Pro status stays so your purchase keeps working. Apple, Google and RevenueCat keep purchase records for as long as they need to for accounting and tax.
- Crash reports and server logs. These are identified only by your account ID or a scrambled form of it, and are deleted automatically when they expire. See the privacy policy.
